It's been a really busy last few months (as you will see from looking through these blogs!).

Larry & Sherry came down from Montana and Michael came from Seattle...

they were excited to see the sun but bummed that it wasn't warmer.

We took the RV and stayed the night before.

It was interesting seeing all of the people partying in their RV's...

Lots of people in period dress - someone told us they were just locals who really liked to dress up. I was thinking they are paid by the city??

It amazes me how these birds perch on the top of these Saguaro's!

Michael went on an overnight hike - and ended up getting a bit lost in the desert...after several hours of trading gps coordinates via poor phone connections he found us...

He said this was the first time he'd seen a trail in a while!

I didn't know he'd gone out without a hat! Once and Alaskan always an Alaskan...

I love me a dirty Jeep!!

Scott took Larry & Sherry out Jeepin - I had to stay home and do homework...

They drove up to an old mine near Mesa.

Kind of tough to see but the jeep is up on that hill...

Just wanted to show there is water in Arizona.

Seattle - lots of family time!

I flew from Anchorage to Seattle and stayed there for a

few days for some more visiting...

Ferry ride over towards Bremerton - very stormy day.

I also got to see two of my brothers - Larry is on my right - he is an electical contractor in Afghanistan. Paul is on my left - he works as a load specialist for Lynden Transport. It was great to catch up with both of them.
