After spending several hours working on this blog it was discovered that none of the pictures I downloaded didn't actually download. I'm hoping I can get it fixed soon... Update - I found an iPad app that lets me upload pictures to this blog. It looks like it worked although the format is messed up...div>
Got into Silsbee yesterday afternoon and decided to go to a campground instead of a hotel because the weather forecast didn't look too bad... After we rode to the other side of town and checked in to the park we looked at the forecast again and they had just posted a tornado watch!
We put up the tent and did everything we could to prepare for the rain and wind we knew was coming. It rained and blew for several hours but for the most part we stayed dry. We decided to take a day off of riding in order to do laundry and catch up on some other things (like this blog).
We look forward to getting back on the road tomorrow...
